Majora's Mask happens shortly soon after Ganon's defeat when the Hero of Time is sent again to his childhood (into the Child Timeline) by Princess Zelda at the conclusion of Ocarina of Time, and tells the princess about Ganondorf just before he rises to ability, starting a special heritage where Ganondorf under no circumstances rose to ability and
